Botanical Sketchbook Stationery Collection
This stationery collection was developed as a conceptual series themed around new beginnings and personal freedom. It includes a large sketchbook, a mid-sized notebook, and a small notepad. Each piece features original hand-drawn floral and butterfly illustrations created in Clip Studio Paint.
The design approach focuses on visual harmony and symbolic growth. In the sketchbook, a rounded charcoal arch frames the composition, while flower elements intentionally extend beyond the arch into negative space, representing limitless creativity. A fine line flows vertically through the center, subtly guiding the eye and adding movement to the layout.
Geometric framing is introduced in the notebook to provide balance and contrast to the organic illustration, using intersecting gold squares to create structure. The notepad features a single gardenia flower wrapped in red thread, evoking a sense of quiet reflection.
The full set explores consistency across scale, format, and medium. Designs were adapted to work on both matte paper and vegan leather, allowing for testing of texture interaction and print clarity on different materials.
