Napur Gin
Napur Gin is a concept Icelandic gin brand created with pure Icelandic gin water and unique botanicals such as juniper berries and arctic thyme, all of which are hand-picked. Napur meaning cold, chilly, and bitter in old Norse, is a brand that is proud to show its heritage and strives to create a timeless and unique emblem that matches its distinctive gin.
I chose to focus on the icy feeling of the Icelandic glaciers and chose ice-like colours for the label. The metallic colours are meant to represent how the light shines through different parts of the glaciers. The outlines that form the border were made to depict the shapes that the streams from the glaciers make when they’re semi-frozen and give a clean and icy look to bring the label together.
