Ghost Of The Robot
This is a concept promotional poster for the band ‘Ghost Of The Robot’. I wanted to keep the poster simple to allow the band to add show dates and venues to help promote upcoming events. Creating a modest poster has allowed the band to modify additional text whenever necessary. While this piece was not commissioned the band has shown interest and has utilized it to promote events on their social media platforms.
I chose to use light shades such as white and light blue to represent the whimsical appearance of the ghost and give it a messy faded look. The robot is made up of different musical equipment such as speakers, microphones, and radios to best represent the aspect of the band. The choice to make the font bold and strong is meant to represent the rock genre of the band, all the while giving it a semblance of ghost vibe. The lines departing the font are used to show the sound waves created by the band.
