Alchemy Cafe
Alchemy Cafe is a concept coffee rebranding with a vivacious Mexican spirit. The brand name originates from the chemical science that is coffee making. The emphasis of the metallic blue and gold is used to represent the true meaning of alchemy which is the transmutation of turning normal metals into gold. This line consists of two different types of coffee: light, and dark. Different colours were used for each type of roast to represent the flavour profiles. The dark roast is metallic blue to represent its rich and bold flavouring, while the golden light roast is more crisp and airy.
Based on the name los Pajaritos I chose to use hummingbirds as they are very frequent in Mexico. The simple line design is used to represent a Spanish style that is uncomplicated and classic with a touch of metallic colour to show the vibrant culture. The use of the hummingbird is meant to allude to the hardworking culture found in Mexico as these small creatures work very hard on sunny days to collect nectar.
